Occupational therapy of the sight handicapped

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je Ergoterapie u zrakově postižených. Tato práce se snaží přiblížit čtenářům problematiku, která se týká života zrakově postižených. Obecná část je zaměřena na anatomii zrakového orgánu, zrakové vady a jejich dělení a v neposlední řadě je do této kapitoly zařazena i hygienu zraku a některé věci, které se jí týkají. Teoretická část speciální se zaobírá komunikací se zrakově postiženými a jejich doprovázením. Dále se zaměřuje na onemocnění diabetes mellitus, jeho příčiny, terapii a také některá přidružená onemocnění, které tuto nemoc doprovázejí. Uvádí se zde i část, ve které se rozebírá ucelená rehabilitace, její části i jakou roli hraje u zrakově postižených. Tuto část práce zakončuje ergoterapie, její definice, cíle a činnosti ergoterapeuta. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiku klientky, která má zrakové postižení, díky nemoci diabetes mellitus. Součástí je jak vstupní tak i výstupní vyšetření klientky s terapií a navrhovaným dlouhodobým ergoterapeutickým plánem.

Abstract:

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is occupational therapy at visually impaired people. The thesis endeavors problematic of life with visually infliction. The general part focus at anatomy of visual organ, visual defects and their division. Last but not least this charter includes eyesight hygiene and things related to it. The theoretical part focus at communication with visually impaired people and their accompaniment. In addition it focus at diabetes mellitus disieas, its causation, therapy and some other associated diseases, which accompanies diabetes mellitus. Also there is a part, where is analyzed comprehensive rehabilitation, its parts and role, which it plays at visually impaired people. This part of thesis is finished with definition of occupational therapy together with goals and activities of occupational therapist The practical part of thesis includes casuistry of client, which has visual impairment due to diabetes mellitus disease. Part of it is also entrance examination and leaving examination of client with therapy and suggested long therm occupational therapy plan.
