Tématem této práce je Rodney Stark ? významná osobnost současné sociologie náboženství. Práce popisuje vývoj jeho teoretického přístupu od spolupráce s Ch. Y. Glockem po aplikaci teorie racionální volby v sociologii náboženství, kterou provedl s W. S. Bainbridgem. V samostatné kapitole je popsáno i východisko této teorie v oborech ekonomie a psychologie. This paper is focused on Rodney Stark ? an influential scholar in contemporary sociology of religion. It describes the development of Stark´s theoretical approach, which proceeded from the collaboration with Ch. Y. Glock to the cooperation with W. S.
