The Market Environment and Competitiveness of PIVOVAR SVIJANY, a.s.

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je analýza pivovarnického tržního prostředí v České republice a identifikace tržní pozice společnosti PIVOVAR SVIJANY, a.s. pomocí aplikace získaných poznatků. Autorka v této práci zkoumá uvedené tržní prostředí a jeho specifika, a to jak z hlediska makrookolí, tak následně i mikrookolí zvoleného podniku. Dále se autorka blíže věnuje charakteristice samotného podniku, kdy byly zjištěny jeho silné a slabé stránky a nalezena konkurenční výhoda. V práci jsou také identifikováni konkurenti Pivovaru Svijany a je analyzováno jeho postavení na daném trhu vzhledem k tržnímu podílu a také vzhledem k nákladům na jednotku produkce. Závěrečná část diplomové práce se pak zabývá vlivem a významem vybraného realizovaného projektu a posléze i působením dotačních prostředků obecně na tržní pozici a konkurenceschopnost PIVOVARU SVIJANY, a.s.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is an analysis of the brewing market environment in the Czech Republic and identification of market position of the brewery PIVOVAR SVIJANY, a.s. by using gained knowledge. The author of this thesis examines the mentioned market environment and its specifics, both in terms of the macro environment, and consequently the microenvironment of the selected company. Afterwards the author describes the characteristics of the company itself and discovers its strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards the author describes the characteristics of the company itself and discovers its strengths and weaknesses; she also finds the brewery's competitive advantage. In the thesis there are also identified competitors of the Svijany Brewery and its market position is analyzed in relation to the market share and also in relation to the production costs per unit. The final part of the thesis deals with the importance and influence of a selected investment project and eventually with the impact of grants in general on the market position and competitiveness of PIVOVAR SVIJANY, a.s.
