New business models for the transformation to the circular economy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem cirkulární ekonomiky, konkrétně pak cirkulárními obchodními modely, jejichž prostřednictvím dochází k udržitelné transformaci ekonomiky. Pozornost je nejdříve věnována pojmové podstatě a konceptu cirkulární ekonomiky. Dále se práce zabývá jejími principy, indikátory, přínosy, legislativním vymezením a obchodními modely, které jsou postaveny na jejím principu. V praktické části práce jsou uvedeny a zhodnoceny výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu vycházející z analýzy cirkulárních aktivit, primárně cirkulárních obchodních modelů, zaváděných v současné době ve sledované organizaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis delves into circular economy, specifically focusing on circular business models that facilitate the sustainable transformation of the economy. Firstly, the attention is dedicated to conceptual essence and concept of the circular economy. Furthermore, this thesis explores the circular economy's principles, indicators, benefits and also legislative definition and business models, which are based on its principle. In the practical part of the work, the results of the qualitative research, which are based on the analysis of circular activities, especially circular business models currently implemented in the monitored organization, are mentioned and evaluated.
