Abstract:

CVIK, Andrej: Enterprise application servers based on the JAVA technology. [Bachelor thesis]. Banking Institute of the university of Prague, a foreign university Banská Bystrica. Department of Quantitative Methods and Computer Science. Supervisor of thesis: doc. RNDr. Juraj Pančík, CSc. Year of defence: 2014. Number of pages: 64. This thesis defines the term application servers. It describes information systems of two-stage and three-stage architecture, technologies such as JAVA or .NET and compares them with each other. In analytical part, the thesis focuses on the environment of application servers. It describes selected application servers and it provides their comparison. In the third part of the bachelor thesis there was a realization of a simple application, which had to be programmed and last, but not least it had to be executed via application server based on JAVA technology.

Katedra kvantitatívnych metód a informatiky. Vedúci práce: doc. RNDr. Juraj Pančík, CSc. Rok obhajoby: 2014. Počet strán: 64. Bakalárska práca definuje pojem aplikačné servery. Popisuje informačné systémy, dvojstupňové a trojstupňové architektúry, technológie ako JAVA alebo .NET a navzájom ich porovnáva. V analytickej časti sa bakalárska práca zameriava na prostredie aplikačných serverov. Popisuje vybrané aplikačné servery a prináša ich porovnanie. V tretej časti bakalárskej práce prebehla realizácia jednoduchej aplikácie, ktorú bolo treba naprogramovať a v neposlednom rade aj spustiť prostredníctvom aplikačného servera, fungujúcom na technológií JAVA.
