The performance of gender difference in individuals with physical disability
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá každodenním životem osob s fyzickou disabilitou. Výzkum je zaměřen na přirozeně vyvstávající antropologická témata jako je embodiment, gender, tělesná jinakost, jinakost v obecném slova smyslu a v neposlední řadě způsob komunikace osob s disabilitou s majoritní společností. Prostřednictvím zmíněných aspektů zkoumá tělesnou disabilitu jako komplexní fenomén.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the way in which people with physical disability experience their daily lives. My research is focused on naturally emerging anthropological themes such as embodiment, gender, bodily difference, otherness and ways of communicating with the able-bodied majority. Through these aspects, it examines physical disability as a complex phenomenon.
