The impact of using BalanceTutor on motor skills of people with cerebral palsy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rehabilitace a jejího vlivu na motorické funkce osob s DMO. V teoretické části jsou zpracována témata vztahující se ke zvolenému tématu za pomoci odborných zdrojů. Jedná se o teoretické vymezení somatopedie, jejího vývoje a dnešního konceptu péče o osoby s tělesným postižením. Teoretická část kvalifikační práce se zaměřuje také na formy rehabilitace a vymezení mozkové obrny včetně jejích forem. Praktická část pomocí experimentálního šetření analyzuje vliv speciálně pedagogické intervence za využití BalanceTutor na rozvoj motorických funkcí osob s mozkovou obrnou. Dosažené výsledky a stanovená doporučení budou využitelná v praxi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with rehabilitation and its impact on motor skills of people with cerebral palsy. In theoretical part there are elaborated themes relating to chosen issues with the help of expert sources. It includes terminological circumscription of somatopaedia, its development and nowaday concept of care of people with physical impairments. Theoretical part of this thesis is also specialized in forms of rehabilitation and in definition of cerebral palsy and its forms. Practical part analyses with the help of experiment the impact of special education intervention on progress of motor skills of people with cerebral palsy with the usage of BalanceTutor. Conclusions of this research and references will be exploitable in practise.
