This bachelor thesis deals with the metaphor “die Mauer in den Köpfen” and its application in newspaper and magazine articles from 1990 to 2015. The aim of this thesis is presenting the articles and analysing their application. The theoretical part is dedicated to the definition of the metaphor and its application. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá metaforou „die Mauer in den Köpfen“ a jejím použitím v novinových a časopisových článcích od roku 1990 do roku 2015. Cílem této práce je představení jednotlivých článků a analýza významu metafory.
