Renovation of heritage sites as a subject for the branch of bricklayers in the Czech Republic (supporting teaching programme)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je koncipována jako podpůrný výukový materiál v oblasti renovace památek pro studenty v oboru Zedník na území ČR. Práce je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické části. V úvodu se věnuji nejen historii odborné výuky zednické činnosti, ale také praxi dob současné. Soustředil jsem se též na historické stavební materiály, pomůcky k opravě historických staveb a jejich rekonstrukcí. Pozornost je věnována i dokumentačním technikám užívaným v památkové praxi. V praktické části práce jsou jednotlivé příklady práce studentů, na kterých jsem zhodnotil postup při konkrétních opravách a popřípadě poukázal na chyby v jejich postupu. Součástí práce jsou i pracovní listy pro studenty, které pro ně budou přínosem v ověřování znalostí v dané problematice.

Abstract:

My thesis is written as a supporting teaching material in the field of renovation of sights for students studying the branch of bricklayers in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the introduction I devote not only to the history of bricklayer´s activity but also to the present times. I also applied my mind to historical building materials, to aids used for renovation of historical buildings and their reconstruction. I also focus on documentation technics used in heritage conservation. In the practical part there are several examples of students´ materials. In their work I evaluated the steps of particular renovations and when it was necessary I pointed out the mistakes in their methods of operation. A part of my thesis is also devoted to working sheets for students, which will be of benefit to students while checking their knowledge in these issues.
