Práce se zabývá názvy, kterými může čeština vyjádřit, že pojmenovávaná entita je nedospělým jedincem. Souhrnně představuje problematiku názvů mláďat v češtině, seznamuje s dosavadními popisy tohoto tématu a především je doplňuje o nové poznatky. This dissertation thesis deals with names, which are used for the denomination of the infant subjects in Czech language. The thesis comprehensively presents the question of names of younglings in Czech language. It summarizes all previous studies and writings focused on this topic and in the first place it completes them with new observations.
