New pregnancy after losing a child

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá novým mateřství po ztrátě dítěte. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké podpůrné faktory napomohly ženám vyrovnat se s úmrtím svého dítěte a zda podle matek předchozí ztráta dítěte ovlivnila přístup nebo průběh následného mateřství. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části se zaměřuje na specifika smrti dítěte, uvádí historii, způsoby a fáze, kterými by měli rodiče při truchlení projít. Následně jsou popsány faktory a činitele, které napomáhají rodičům v procesu vyrovnávání se s úmrtím dítěte. Empirická část má kvalitativní design. Výzkumná data byla získaná metodou životního příběhu, metodou terénních poznámek a metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výsledky výzkumu budou analyzovány pomocí interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy, následně budou popsány prostřednictvím témat, která byla přijata na základě komparace výzkumných dat. Daná témata vyplývající z rozhovorů s respondentkami budou v závěru práce konfrontována s uznávanými daty.

Abstract:

The his diploma thesis deals with new motherhood after the loss of the child. The thesis aims to find out what supporting factors helped these women to cope with the loss of their child and whether the preceding loss of the child affected the following motherhood of these women. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the specifics of the child's loss, demonstrates the past, ways and stages of mourning that parents should go through. Subsequently, the factors and determinants that help parents in the process of coping with the loss of the child are described. The empirical part has a qualitative design. The research data have been acquired by the life story method, the field notes method and the semi-structured interviews method. The results of the research will be analyzed by using interpretive phenomenological analysis. Afterwards, they will be described through topics that were accepted on the basis of a comparison of research data. The presented topics resulting from interviews with respondents will be confronted with acknowledged data at the end of the thesis.
