Solution of serious colour discolorations by bleaching

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice řešení závažných barevných diskolorací pomocí různých metod bělení. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol, které se dále člení na podkapitoly a oddíly. V první části jsou popsány tři závažné diskolorace – white spots, fluoróza a tetracyklinové zuby. Podrobněji popisujeme jejich klinický vzhled, klasifikaci, mechanismus vzniku, atd. Druhá kapitola se zabývá problematikou bělení zubů, nejdříve jsou obecně popsané dostupné techniky bělení, dále je detailněji popsáno kombinované bělení Pure Whitening. Poslední kapitola teoretické části slučuje dvě předchozí kapitoly. Jsou uvedeny protokoly řešení výše zmíněných diskolorací pomocí kombinovaného bělení, tato kapitola je také doplněna o mikroabrazi, infiltraci a citlivost zubů. Teoretických poznatků bylo využito v praktické části, která byla vypracována na základě průzkumu formou dotazníku pro dentální hygienistky a zhotovení statistiky. Cílem praktické části bylo zmapovat tuto problematiku z pohledu dentálních hygienistek, zjistit s jakými závažnými diskoloracemi se setkávají nejčastěji a také jak je řeší.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of solving serious color discolourations using different bleaching methods. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters, which are further divided into subchapters and sections. In the first part, three major discolorations - white spots, fluorosis and tetracycline teeth are described. We describe in more detail their clinical appearance, classification, mechanism of origin, etc. The second chapter deals with bleaching the teeth, the generally available bleaching techniques are described first, and then the Pure Whitening combined bleaching is described in more detail. The last chapter of the theoretical part combines two previous chapters. Protocols for the solution of the above-mentioned discolorations are presented by means of combined bleaching, this chapter is also supplemented by microabrasion, infiltration and teeth sensitivity. The theoretical knowledge was used in the practical part, which was elaborated on the basis of questionnaire survey and statistics. The aim of the practical part was to map out this issue from the point of view of dental hygienists, to find out what serious discolorations they encounter most often and how they solve them.
