Endometriosis, infertility and sterility of a women

Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na ženy, kterým byla diagnostikována endometrióza. Endometrióza patří k nejobvyklejším benigním gynekologickým onemocnění žen. Incidenci tohoto onemocnění je těžké určit pro obtížnou diagnostiku a velké množství symptomů. Prevalence v populaci se odhaduje okolo 6-10 % žen ve fertilním věku (Giudice 2010). Cíl: Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit problémy, které ženám nastaly během života s endometriózou. Metodika: Jedná se o kvalitativní šetření. Metoda - polostrukturované interview, do-plněno kazuistickými informacemi. Celkem bylo zpracováno pět rozhovorů, které byly nahrávány. Rozhovor byl veden pokaždé s ženou, která měla diagnostikovanou endometriózu, a to bez ohledu na věk, paritu a dosažené vzdělání. Ženy souhlasily se zapojením do šetření. Výsledky: Výsledky potvrdily, že všechny ženy mají podobné příznaky onemocnění a že většina žen má problém otěhotnět. Výsledky se shodují s odbornou literaturou. Také se ukázalo, že tyto ženy snášejí onemocnění po psychické stránce dobře. Závěr: Z uvedeného šetření vyplývá, že by problematice endometriózy měla být věno-vána daleko větší pozornost, protože právě kvůli endometrióze může žena trpět sterilitou. Neschopnost mít děti může ženám způsobit psychické problémy. Ambulantní gynekolog by měl pečlivě při každé pravidelné gynekologické kontrole, která je jednou za rok, vyšetřit ženu ultrazvukem a zaměřit se na ložiska endometriózy a případné změny.

Abstract:

Introduction: This bachelor´s work focuses on women with endometriosis diagnosis. Endometriosis belongs to the most common benign gynecological women´s diseases. It is hard to assess the incidence due to the difficully of diagnosis and the large num-ber of symtoms. The prevalence in population is estimated at 6-10 % of women in fertile age (Giudice 2010). Goal: The main aim was to find out the problems which the women with endometriosis have to endure. Methods: Qualitative research has been used, namely the method of semistructured interview suplemented with case information. Five interviews have been conducted and recorded. The interview was always performed with a woman with the endometri-osis diagnosis, no matter the age parity or education. The women agreed to be enrolled in the research. Results: The outcomes have confirmed that all the women have similar symptoms and for most of them it is hard to become pregnant. The outcomes are in accordance with specialized literature. These women also showed a goog mental tolerantion of the discase. Conclusion: It is clear from this research that the problem of endometriosis should be given more atention, because it is one of the reason why women suffer from sterility. The inability to have children can cause women psychological problems. A gynecologist should examine a woman, while at the regular check up, with an ultrasound and focus on the nidus of endometriosis and possible changes of the tissue.
