Diplomová práce se zabývá osobností Aloise Kalvody jako učitele a dobovým fenoménem jeho soukromé malířské školy v Běhařově. Začátek práce je zaměřen na tradiční postupy výuky krajinomalby na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze, především na období spjaté s Juliem Mařákem, který zásadně zformoval Kalvodovo smýšlení. Abstract:
The thesis deals with Alois Kalvoda’s personality as a teacher and the contemporary phenomenon of his private school of painting in Běhařov. The first part of the thesis is focused on the traditional methods of teaching landscape painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, especially in the period that is associated with Julius Mařák, who significantly influenced Kalvoda’s thinking.
