The Theory of Pure Form in Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz's dramas. "Country House", "The Water Hen"
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis introduces aesthetic Pure-Form Theory of polish artist and scholar Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz (Witkacy). It focuses on dramatic work of Witkiewicz and it sets on the elements of Pure-Form Theory through an interpretation of two plays "Country House" and "The Water Hen".
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce představuje autorskou estetickou teorii čisté formy polského umělce Stanisława Ignacyho Witkiewicze (Witkacyho). Práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku prvků teorie čisté formy ve Witkacyho dramatických dílech prostřednictvím interpretace her Na malém panství (W małym dworku) a Vodní slípka (Kurka wodna).
