The psychosemantic aspects of young offenders' personality

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabýváme psychosémantickým přístupem k výzkumu osobnostních rysů mladistvých delikventů z hlediska „Teorie významu“ Shulamith a Hanse Kretlerových (1990). Zaměřujeme se na zjištění, zda-li mají mladiství delikventi určité specifické osobnostní rysy, které je predisponují k delikventnímu chování, jaký používají významový systém dle teorie manželů Kreitlerových, jakými osobnostními rysy se odlišují od adolescentů běžné populace. V teoretické části je přiblížen psychosémantický přístup a vybrané psychosémantické metody, detailně rozepsána teorie významu manželů Kreitlerových (1990) a sepsány základní poznatky o mladistvých delikventech se zaměřením na jejich osobnost. U vybraných mladistvých delikventů a nedelikventních mladistvých byl administrován Osobnostní dotazník pro mládež HSPQ (Balcar, 1992) a Dotazník významu manželů Kreitlerových (1990). V naší studii se potvrdily statisticky významné rozdíly mezi skupinami v četnosti užití jednotlivých významových proměnných. Rovněž se potvrdil rozdíl mezi osobnostními rysy mladistvých delikventů a kontrolní skupiny. Současně jsme se snažili přiblížit nové možnosti využití a aplikace teorie významu manželů Kreitlerových v psychodiagnostice dospívajících. Pro tyto účely byl porovnán vztah mezi významovými proměnnými a specifickými osobnostními rysy měřenými tradičním osobnostním dotazníkem HSPQ. Psychosémantický přístup manželů Kreitlerových a jejich teorii významu považujeme za velký přínos do současné diagnostické praxe.

Abstract:

In the diploma thesis we deal with the psychosemantic approach to the research of character features of young offenders from the point of view of „The Meaning Theory" by Shulamith and Hans Kreitler (1990). We focus on the findings, whether young offenders have certain specific character features that predetermine them to deliquent behaviour, what meaning system according to the theory by the Kreitlers they use, in what character features they differ from adolescents of common population. In a theoretical part the psychosemantic approach and the chosen psychosemantic methods are described more closely, the meaning theory by the Kreitlers (1990) is specified in details and basic knowledge about young offenders with a view to their personality is listed. The Personality Questionnaire for Youth HSPQ (Balcar, 1992) and The Questionnaire of Meaning by the Kreitlers (1990) were administrated at the chosen young offenders and young non-offenders. In our study statistically significant differences between the groups in the frequency of use of single meaning variables were proved. Also the difference between character features of young offenders and the checking group was proved. At the same time we tried to bring more closely new possibilities of use and application of the meaning theory by the Kreitlers in a psychodiagnosis of adolescents. For these purposes the relationship between meaning variables and specific character features, measured by the conventional personality questionnaire HSPQ, was compared. We consider the psychosemantic approach by the Kreitlers and their meaning theory an important contribution to the cuccent diagnostic practice.
