Anotácia:

Diplomová práce se zabývá canisterapií u osob s mentálním postižením a osob s autismem z pohledu canisterapeuta. Teoretická část diplomové práce vymezuje mentální postižení a autismus, uvádí charakteristiku, klasifikaci a etiologii obou postižení. Dále je teoretická část zaměřena na vzdělávání osob s mentálním postižením a autismem, věnuje se historii a současnému pojetí vzdělávaní osob s tímto postižením. Teoretická část diplomové práce také vymezuje canisterapii jako jednu z animoterapií. Praktická část diplomové práce se věnuje výzkumnému šetření. Výzkumné šetření je zaměřeno na canisterapii, především na práci canisterapeuta a průběh skupinové a individuální canisterapeutické intervenci, soustředí se na cíle, metody a pokroky či úspěchy pozorované u klientů canisterapie. Výzkumné šetření prokázalo, že canisterapie je vhodnou metodou pro práci s osobami s mentálním postižením a osobami s autismem.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of canistherapy on mentally challenged and autistic clients from the view of a therapist. The theoretical part of this thesis depicts the issues of mental disorder and autism. It explains the main features, categorization and etiology of both disorders. The theoretical part further focuses on the education of mentally challenged and autistic people, it deals with the historical and current approaches to the education of these people. It also defines canistherapy as one of the Animal Assisted Therapies. The practical part of this thesis deals with the research. This research focuses on canistherapy, especially on the work of a dog holder - therapist and the development of group and individual canistherapeutic intervention. It depicts aims, methods and progress observed on the clients of canistherapy. The research showed that canistherapy is an appropriate method for working with people with mental disability and people with autistic spectrum disorders.
