Abstract:

Cílem této kvalifikační práce je zjistit, jaká jsou nejčastější zranění u squashových hráčů na amatérské i profesionální úrovni. Dotazník na problematiku zranění ve squashi byl elektronicky zpřístupněn hráčům squashe a širší squashové veřejnosti po celé České republice. Výzkumná skupina byla složena z 106 hráčů squashe obou pohlaví, kde tři čtvrtiny tvořili profesionální hráči, tedy hráči registrovaní v žebříčku České asociace squashe. Zbylou čtvrtinu zastupovali hráči na úrovni amatérské, jinak řečeno začátečníci. Nejčastěji zraněnou oblastí pro obě pozorované skupiny byl kotník a stehno. Výsledky zranění ve squashi ukazují, že ze skupiny amatérů se zranilo 65 % a ze skupiny profesionálů 88 %.

Abstract:

The aim of this qualification is to find out what are the most common injuries in squash players at amateur and professional level. A questionnaire on the issue of injuries in squash was made electronically available to squash players and the wider squash community across the country. The research group consisted of 106 squash players of both genders, where three quarters were professional players, i.e. players registered in the Czech Squash Association rankings. The remaining quarter was represented by players at amateur level, in other words, beginners. The most frequently injured areas for both groups was the ankle and knee. The results of squash injuries show that 65 % of the amateur group and 88 % of the professional group were injured.
