The assessment of the liberalization of the energy market and its results in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá liberalizací trhu s elektrickou energií v rámci České republiky, v teoretické části je analyzován průběh liberalizace trhu od počátku první zmínky potřeby liberalizace až po současnost. Je uveden základní legislativní rámec v rámci České republiky a spojitost s legislativou Evropské unii, ze které bylo vycházeno, při tvorbě podmínek pro plně liberalizovaný trh s elektrickou energií. Na základě získaných poznatků byla provedena analýza trhu v České republice a sestaven Porterův model pěti sil. Na základě těchto analýz bylo provedeno srovnání dodavatelů elektrické energie pro jednotlivé kategorie odběru -- domácnosti v modelové spotřebě pro běžnou spotřebu, běžná spotřeba včetně ohřevu teplé vody a pro spotřebu pro vytápění, v kategorii maloodběru pro běžnou spotřebu a pro spotřebu při vytápění. Srovnání bylo provedeno mezi třemi regiony -- hlavní město Praha, Ústecký kraj a Jihomoravský kraj, kde byl vždy porovnáván dominantní dodavatel elektrické energie se svým nejběžnějším poskytovaným tarifem oproti ostatním dodavatelů v daném regionu. Porovnání proběhlo na základě výpočtu roční spotřeby a přepočtu na celkový roční náklad za odběr elektrické energie v programu Microsoft Excel. Na základě tohoto srovnání byl navržen postup pro postup při změně dodavatele, která je výsledkem liberalizace trhu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the liberalization of the electricity market in the Czech Republic, in the theoretical part analyzes the liberalization of the market since the beginning of the first mention of liberalization needs to present. Provides a basic legislative framework within the Czech Republic and the connection with the legislation of the European Union, of which it was started, to create the conditions for a fully liberalized electricity market. Based on the findings, analysis was performed for the market in the Czech Republic and compiled Porter's five forces model. On the basis of these analyzes were compared energy suppliers for each category collection - household consumption model for normal consumption, normal consumption, including heating and hot water for consumption for heating in the retail category for current consumption and for consumption during heating. The comparison was made between the three regions - the capital city of Prague, Usti nad Labem Region and South Moravian Region, where he was always compared to the dominant supplier of electrical power is provided by its most common fare in comparison to other suppliers in the region. The comparison was done by calculating the annual consumption and conversion to total annual cost for electricity consumption in Microsoft Excel. Based on this comparison has been proposed for the switching process, which is the result of market liberalization.
