The latest findings in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem nejnovějších poznatků v diagnostice a léčbě zhoubných novotvarů. Neustálý vývoj v oblasti diagnostiky a léčby umožňuje širší možnosti léčby a zlepšení prognózy, doby přežití a kvality života pacientů. Cílem práce bylo vypracovat rešerši a zmapování nejnovějších poznatků v diagnostice a léčbě zhoubných nádorů. V rešerši byl definován pojem zhoubných nádorů a faktory pro jejich vznik. Dále bylo vybráno několik metod v jejich diagnostice a léčbě. U těchto metod byly popsány novinky a jejich momentální využití v praxi. Vybrané metody v diagnostice byly například magnetická rezonance, histologické a cytologické vyšetření nebo tekutá biopsie. U léčby byla vybrána například chemoterapie, imunoterapie a individualizovaná terapie. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na budoucnost v diagnostice a léčbě rakoviny.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of the latest findings in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms. Constant developments in the field of diagnosis and treatment allow for wider treatment options and improvement of the prognosis, survival time and quality of life of patients. The aim of the thesis was to develop research and mapping of the latest findings in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors. In the search, the concept of malignant tumors and factors for their formation were defined. Furthermore, several methods were selected in their diagnosis and treatment. The novelties and their current use in practice were described for these methods. The selected diagnostic methods were, for example, magnetic resonance, histological and cytological examination or liquid biopsy. For the treatment, for example, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and individualized therapy were chosen. The last part of the work is focused on the future in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
