Tato práce si klade za úkol zkoumat postavení Senátu Parlamentu v politickém systému České republiky prostřednictvím kvantitativních nástrojů. Samotné kvantitativní analýze předchází vysvětlení teorií horních komor a jejich následné aplikování na případ Senátu PČR. Abstract:
This thesis aims to examine the position of the Senate of the Parliament in the political system of the Czech Republic by using quantitative tools. An explanation of the theories of upper chambers and their subsequent application to the case of the Senate precede the quantitative analysis itself.
