The perception and care of the countryside through gamekeeping

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na specifickou intersubjektivitu myslivců. Cílem bylo potvrdit či naopak vyvrátit jejich sebeidentifikaci s prostorem, ve kterém se každodenně pohybují. Tematicky je práce zaměřena na fenomén místa a krajiny, která sebou nesou významy. Tyto významy jsou do nich vloženy skrze prožitky, příběhy a zkušenosti spjaté s každodenním pohybem v nich. Předmětem zájmu bylo je poznat, a poznat tak jedince i celou skupinu myslivců, kteří do nich vložili své významy. Práce by měla rozšířit poznatky zejména v oblasti antropologie krajiny věnované vnímání krajiny ve vztahu k identitě a paměti. Výzkum s kvalitativním charakterem, dal za vnik poznání o myslivosti a o myslivcích samotných. Pomocí zúčastněného pozorování a vedení polostrukturovaného dotazování se podařilo dostat odpovědi na otázky, které byly předkládány ohledně zkoumané skupiny myslivců. Velikost výzkumného vzorku činila sedm mužů a jednu ženu, kteří se věnují myslivosti. Výzkumným regionem se stalo Tachovsko.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis focuses on the specific intersubjectivity of gamekeepers. The goal of my work was to accept or reject their self-identification with the professional space in which they operate on a daily basis. Thematically the thesis is focused on the phenomena of space and landscape, which carry their own meanings. Those meanings are inserted in them through experiences, narratives and practices connected with the daily exposure to them. The point of interest was to discover those meanings and therefore the individuals and the gamekeeper community, who inserted those meanings.My thesis should expand the knowledge of the area of an anthropology of the landscape, more specifically the perception of the landscape in relation to identity and memory. My research with the qualitative characteristics created knowledge about the gamekeepers and their profession. Using the attended observation as a research method and conducting a semi-structured survey I have achieved collecting answers to questions about the examined group. My sample size was 8 including 7 males and 1 female, who are gamekeepers. The area of my research was Tachovsko
