The portrayals of men in figural carvings and anthropomorphic vases in the neolithic and early eneolithic period

Abstract:

V této práci jsem se snažila vytvořit co nejlepší přehled neolitických a časně eneolitických mužských figur na území České republiky, Slovenska a částečně i Rakouska, Německa a Maďarska. Exempláře jsou řazeny chronologicky v rámci archeologických kultur, k nimž náleží. Dále jsou rozděleny na volnou plastiku, aplikovanou plastiku a antropomorfní nádoby. V rámci tohoto rozlišení byly pak jednotlivé typy plastik ještě dále rozděleny podle dnešních (výše zmíněných) států, na jejichž území byly nalezeny. V závěru se snažím stručně shrnout poznatky získané na základě zde shromážděných faktů týkajících se jednotlivých plastik.

Abstract:

In this work I tried to create the overview of the neolithic and early eneolithic men’s figures on the area of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and partly also Austria, Germany and Hungary. Exemplars are in chronological order within archeological cultures, which they belong to. Furthermore, they are divided into free sculpture applied figures and anthropomorphic vessels. As part of this resolution were different types of sculptures further divided according to the above-mentioned states on whose territory was found. In conclusion, I try to briefly summarize the lessons learned here on the basis of collected facts relating to the individual sculptures.
