The comparison study of the b/b models

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Srovnávací studie bankrotních/bonitních modelů“ je srovnat vypovídací schopnost vybraných bonitních/bankrotních modelů. První část analyzuje současný stav teorie bonitnícíh a bankrotních modelů a popis vybraných modelů, kterými jsou Kralickův rychlý test, Index bonity, Altmanova formule bankrotu, Altmanova formule bankrotu pro ČR, indexy důvěryhodnosti IN, Tafflerův model a Argentiniho model. Dále jsou uvedeny poznatky ze studií o Z score profesora Altmana a o Tafflerově modelu v uplynulých pětadvaceti letech. Na konec následuje samotná srovnávací studie na zvolené společnosti a její závěry.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “The comparison study of the b/b models” is to compare a predictive ability of selected credit scoring and bankruptcy models (b/b). First part is dedicated to analysis of temporary theories about b/b models and characteristics of selected models, which are following: Quick test by Kralicek, Bonity index, Altman's Z score, Altman's Z score for CZ, indices of credibility called IN, Taffler's z-score and the model by Argentini. Consequently are presented two findings of studies about Z score by professor Altman and Taffler's z-score in the process of last twenty-five years. In the end the comparison study of models is sketched. The study is made on chosen company and conclusions ends up the thesis.
