The needs of patient with acute myocardial infarction

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat biopsychosociální potřeby pacienta s akutním infarktem myokardu, zaměřit se také na komplikace a léčbu. Dále pak zjistit dopad onemocnění na život pacienta a jeho rodiny. Metodika: Empirická část byla zpracována metodou kazuistiky. Data ke zpracování práce byla získávána z nemocniční dokumentace, od zdravotnického personálu, a především rozhovorem s pacientkou a jejím manželem. Kazuistika se skládá z anamnézy a katamnézy, která se členění do jednotlivých částí a období, popisující nemoc od prvních příznaků až po propuštění pacientky do domácího prostředí. Výsledky: Kazuistika popisuje jeden konkrétní případ prodělání akutního infarktu myokardu a jeho možné komplikace. Zaměřuje se na biopsychosociální potřeby pacientky a také prožívaní onemocnění. Pacientka se musela vyrovnat se spoustou událostí a smířit se s určitými změnami v jejím životě. Po psychické stránce se musela vyrovnávat s faktem, že mohla přijít o život. V nemocničním zařízení pro ni byly nejdůležitější potřeby čistoty, spánku, bezpečí a lásky. Po propuštění do domácí péče to byly potřeby seberealizace, lásky, sounáležitosti. Závěr: Potřeby pacienta mohou být ovlivněny různými faktory. V tomto případě sehrály roli komplikace, které se objevily a dále to byly zákazy návštěv, což mělo vliv na psychickou stránku pacientky. Za téhle situace by měli sehrát určitou roli zdravotníci, kteří by měli pacientce napomoci nejen k uzdravení, ale také navodit psychickou pohodu. Tento přístup zdravotníků zlepší psychiku pacientky a ovlivní pozitivně uspokojování potřeb. V době, kdy na řadu přichází rodina, je důležitá především podpora a projevy lásky a pocit bezpečí.

Abstract:

The aim: The aim of this bachelor work is to discribe biopsychosocial needs of a patient with an acute myocardial infarction as well as on its complications and a treatment. And additionaly find out the impact of the illness on the patient's life and her family. Methodology: The empiric part has been processed by a case study. The data to process this work have been obtained from hospital documentation, hospital staff and moreover from an interview with the patient and her husband. The case study is composed by anamnesis and catamnesis which is divided into individual parts and periods discribing the illness from the first symptoms to discharging the patient home. Outcomes: The case study discribes one particular case of an acute myocardial infarction and its possible complications. It focuses on the patient's biopsychosocial needs and her feelings about the illness. The patient had to deal with a lot of events and come to terms with certain changes in her life. Mentally, she had to come to terms with a fact the she could have died. In the hospital the most important things for her had been the needs of cleanness, sleep, safety and love. After discharge into home care the needs had been self realisation, love and belonging. Conclusion: Different factors may influence a patient's needs. In this case, the complications that occurred played a role, and there were visitation bans, which affected the patient's mental side. In this situation, health professionals should play a role in helping the patient not only to recover, but also to induce psychological well-being. This approach by health professionals will improve the patient's psyche and positively affect the satisfaction of needs. At a time when family is next, support and expressions of love and a sense of security are particularly important.
