Risk Management and Modern Audit of Business Processes

Abstract:

Management firem neustále čelí velkému množství rizik. Jelikož vnitřní i vnější prostředí, ve kterém se společnosti nachází, se stále mění. Diplomová práce se proto zabývá řízením rizik a auditem vybrané společnosti. Cílem diplomové práce je na základě teoretických východisek provedení analýzy rizik a auditu účetní závěrky, který ověří nejrizikovější oblast obchodního případu a poskytne případná praktická doporučení a řešení pro efektivnější řízení rizik v daném obchodním případu. Pro naplnění cíle je v rámci analýzy rizik aplikována metoda analýzy, která obsahuje identifikaci rizik, analýzu citlivosti a vyhodnocení rizikovosti jednotlivých účtů účetní osnovy. Analýza rizik je podpořena metodami rozhovorů, deskripce a maticí významnosti. Výsledkem matice je identifikace nejvíce využívaných rizikových účtů ve společnosti, na které je provedena aplikace auditu. Auditní proces při svém průběhu aplikuje metody komparace, náhodného výběru vzorku a auditního testování. Díky provedenému auditnímu šetření jsou ověřeny účty, které se jeví jako rizikové. Výsledkem práce je vyhodnocení a doporučení ve zprávě auditora pro případné zlepšení vedení účetnictví v oblastech, na nichž byla provedena aplikace externího auditu.

Abstract:

Corporate management is constantly faced with a large number of risks. Because the internal and external environment of companies is constantly changing. The thesis therefore deals with risk management and audit of the selected company. The aim of the thesis is to perform a risk analysis and audit of the financial statement based on theoretical background, which will verify the most risky area of the selected company and provide practical recommendations and solutions for more effective risk management in the business case. The risk analysis is supported by the methods of interview, descriptions and the signifikance matrix. The matrix results in the identification of the most used risk accounts in the company to which the audit is applied. The audit proces applies the methods of comparison, random sampling and audit testing. Through the audit investigation, accounts that appeat ro be risk are verified. The work results in an evaluation and recommendations in auditor’s report for possible improvements in accounting management in the areas where the external audit application has been carried out.
