This thesis deals with basic presentation of RouterBoard platform, especially RB450G's hardware configuration, description of licensed system Mikrotik RouterOS, introduction of operating system of the GNU/Linux and description of the GNU/Linux distribution appointed for routing devices and other embedded devices.
