Cytokiníny patria medzi rastlinné hormóny, ktorých funkcia v rastlinách je v súčasnej dobe intenzívne študovaná. K celkovému obrazu o vplyvu cytokinínov na rastlinný organizmus prispieva štúdium komponentov cytokinínovej signálnej dráhy. Jedným z nich sú regulátory odpovede.
