FILM IN EDUCATION OF LITERATURE IN THE BOOKS OF WITER VLADIMÍR KÖRNER

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá filmem ve výuce literatury v díle Vladimíra Körnera. Mimo to, že je Vladimír Körner spisovatel, tak je i skvělý scénárista. Snažila jsem se ve své práci za použití různých výukových metod zařadit do hodin českého jazyka a literatury právě filmy podle jeho knižních předloh nebo scénářů. Vzhledem k tomu, jaká témata ve svých dílech Vladimír Körner řeší, tak samy o sobě vybízí k interdisciplinárním přístupům ve výuce - mimo literaturu a český jazyk zejména dějepis a základy společenských věd. Filmy podle Körnerových scénářů jsou velmi vysoce hodnoceny v české kinematografii, bohužel se s nimi na školách pracuje minimálně. Svou prací jsem chtěla upozornit na to, že se nabízí spousta možností, jak pracovat s filmem v literatuře jako takovým, aniž by to bylo na její úkor. Se středoškolskými studenty se navíc nabízí možnost řešit kontroverznější témata, se kterými Körner pracuje - odsun Němců, fanatismus, morální hodnoty a další. V závěru jsem shrnula metody a postupy ve vyuce. Ráda bych řekla, že toto téma jsem zcela nevyčerpala, jelikož Körner je velmi plodnym autorem. Vybrala jsem proto díla rozdílná v časovém horizontu od šedesátych let až do roku 2005.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with using film in classes of literature in the books of Vladimír Körner. Besides being a writer, Vladimír Körner is also a great screenwriter. I was focused to use various teaching methods. I tried to include films according to his books or scripts into Czech language and literature lessons. Given the topics in his works, Vladimír Körner also encourages interdisciplinary approaches in teaching - in addition to literature and Czech language, especially history and the basics of social sciences. Films based on Körner's screenplays are highly rated in Czech cinematography, but unfortunately they are hardly ever used in schools. By my work I wanted to point out that there are plenty of possibilities to work with film in literature as such. In addition, secondary school students are offered the opportunity to get to know more about controversial topics Körner works with - the expulsion of Germans, fanaticism, moral values and more. In conclusion I summarized methods and procedures while teaching. I would like to say that I have not exhausted this topic completely, because Körner is a very prolific author. Therefore I have chosen works that are specific in time horizon from the 1960`s to 2005.
