Improvement of the Public Relations of Vint s.r.o. through the social network Facebook

Abstract:

Motivací celé práce je příležitost využít marketingový nástroj Public Relations (dále jen PR) pro zvýšení povědomí o společnosti Vint s.r.o. a s tím spojené dosažení vyšší ziskovosti společnosti. Cílem bakalářské práce je správa Facebookového profilu společnosti Vint s.r.o. s využitím principů PR. Součástí práce je praktické ověření fungování tohoto nástroje PR v dané společnosti. Primární data vyplívají z dotazníkového šetření společně s výzkumnými otázkami, které jsou řešeny statistickou metodou Chí kvadrát testem nezávislosti. Sekundární data vycházejí ze SWOT analýzy, rozhovoru s majitelem firmy Mgr. Bohumilem Vaněčkem a údajů ze sociální sítě Facebook. Definovaly se klíčové ukazatele výkonosti (KPI) podle kterých byla řízena správa profilu. Vhodnou správou Facebookového profilu je možné docílit vyšší popularity a tím i vyššího počtu zakázek/zisků. Výsledek je definován na základě růstu/poklesu/stagnace uživatelské aktivity na profilu a komunikace s majitelem společnosti. Z výsledků, které profil společnosti na Facebooku zaznamenal, vyplývá, že profil měl u uživatelů pozitivní ohlas. Pozitivní ohlasy jsou taktéž zaznamenány od majitele firmy a předpokládá se dlouhodobé spravování firemního profilu.

Abstract:

The motivation of the whole work is the opportunity to use the marketing tool of Public Relations (hereinafter referred to as PR) to increase the awareness of Vint s.r.o. and thus achieve higher profitability of the company. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to manage the Facebook profile of Vint s.r.o. using PR principles. Part of the thesis is a practical verification of the functioning of this PR tool in the company. The primary data comes from a questionnaire survey together with the research questions, which are solved by the statistical method Chi-square test of independence. Secondary data are based on SWOT analysis, interview with the owner of the company Mgr. Bohumil Vaněček and data from the social network Facebook. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were defined according to which profile management was managed. By proper management of the Facebook profile, it is possible to achieve higher popularity and thus a higher number of orders/profits. The result is defined based on the growth/decline/stagnation of user activity on the profile and communication with the company owner. The results that the company's Facebook profile has recorded show that the profile has had a positive response from users. Positive feedback is also recorded from the company owner and it is assumed that the company profile will be managed over the long term.
