Media Communications in Religious Tourism - Using New Perspectives on Traditional Jewish Cuisine and Accommodation in the Promotion of Hotels with Restaurants

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Mediální komunikace v oblasti církevní turistiky; Využití nových pohledů na tradiční židovskou gastronomii a ubytování při propagaci hotelových zařízení s restaurací se zabývá částí církevní turistiky, turistiky židovské a také tím, jak může být tento segment mediálně ovlivněn. Práce bude využita při stavbě a přípravě hotelového zařízení s restaurací určeného právě pro židovskou klientelu a následně při tvorbě komunikační strategie. Cílem je dokonale poznat tento segment, jeho tradice a zvyky a veškerá specifika, která ovlivňují jak zařízení hotelu a restaurace, tak následně i mediální komunikaci. V první teoreticko – metodologické části diplomové práce se snažím o teoretický náhled do problematiky židovských tradic a zvyků a zabývám se také složkou mediální komunikace. Obsahem druhé části diplomové práce je analýza hypotéz na základě dotazování a hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Analýza se týká chování, zvyků a tradic židovské klientely a vlivu právě těchto faktorů na mediální komunikaci. Návrhová část obsahuje konkrétní návrhy a představy, jak mediálně nejlépe zpropagovat hotel s košer restaurací jak v České republice, tak i v zahraničí.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis with the topic “Media Communications in Religious Tourism; Using New Perspectives on Traditional Jewish Cuisine and Accommodation in the Promotion of Hotels with Restaurant” deals with one part of religious tourism – the Jewish tourism and how is it possible to influence this segment through the media. The thesis will be used by the preparation and building of the hotel facilities with restaurant, which is design for the Jewish clients. It will be used as well by the creation of the communication strategy. The main aim is to get to know this segment perfectly, its customs and all specifics, which influence the facilities of hotel and restaurant with the media communication in consequence. In the first theoretical-methodological approach of this thesis I try to introduce the problematic of Jewish tradition and customs and the elements of the media communication, too. The subject of the second part is the analysis of the hypotheses on the basis of questioning and of the depth, semistructured interviews. The analysis refers about the behavior, customs and traditions of the Jewish clients and about the influence of those elements on media communication. The suggested part contains the concrete propositions what is the best promotion of hotel with Kosher restaurant in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.
