The role of the Labor Office from the perspective of unemployed graduates

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce byla zaměřena na téma: „Úloha úřadu práce z pohledu nezaměst-naných absolventů“. Hlavním cílem teoretické části bakalářské práce bylo definovat pojmy: trh práce, nezaměstnanost, absolvent, úřad práce, politika zaměstnanosti a kariérové poradenství. Dalším cílem bylo objasnit, jak povinnosti uchazeče o za-městnání, tak jeho práva a poukázat na velké množství aktivit, které může úřad prá-ce nezaměstnaným absolventům nabídnout. Teoretická část byla zpracována na základě analýzy, která se opírala o teoretické poznatky získané z odborných publi-kací, časopisů, legislativy a internetových zdrojů, jejich komparace a následné syn-tézy. Cílem praktické části bylo odpovědět na průzkumné otázky, jak vidí úlohu úřa-du práce sami nezaměstnaní absolventi středních odborných škol, které aktivity jim byly úřadem práce nabídnuty a jaká byla jejich očekávání na pomoc ze strany úřadu práce a zda byla naplněna. V rámci praktické části bylo realizováno průzkumné do-tazníkové šetření mezi absolventy středních odborných škol, kteří se stali neza-městnanými v Jihomoravském kraji od ledna 2019.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis was focused on the theme: "The role of the Labor Office from the perspective of unemployed graduates". The main objective of the theoretical part of the thesis was to define the terms: labor market, unemployment, graduate, labor office, employment policy and career guidance. Another objective was to clari-fy both the obligations of the job seeker and his rights and to point out the large number of activities that the labor office can offer to unemployed graduates. The theoretical part was based on the analysis, which was based on theoretical know-ledge obtained from professional publications, magazines, legislation and Internet sources, their comparison and subsequent synthesis. The aim of the practical part was to answer the exploratory questions as to how the unemployed secondary school graduates themselves see the role of the labor office, what activities were offered by the labor office and what were their expectations were and whether it was fulfilled. In the practical part, a survey questionnaire was carried out among graduates of secondary vocational schools who became unemployed in the South Moravian Region since January 2019.
