Diplomová práce se zabývá využíváním Griceových maxim kooperačního principu a konceptu ‘face’ z hlediska vyjednávání významu a konstrukce reality během jednotlivých druhů výslechů v civilním soudním jednání O.J. Abstract:
The M.A. thesis deals with exploitations of Grice’s maxims of the CP and with the concept of face in terms of negotiating meanings and constructing a version of reality in the O.J. Simpson’s civil trial. Maxims violations open up the potential to modify the meaning and reality as well as the face because they give rise to implicated (extra) meaning.
