Possibilities for in-filling missing data in temperature time series for meteorological station of Department Physical Geography and Geoecology

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou časových řad teploty získaných z dat stanice katedry Fyzické geografie a geoekologie Ostravské univerzity umístěné v Slezské Ostravě naměřených v letech 2006 - 2017. Cílem této práce je doplnění chybějících hodnot teploty v časové řadě a následné vytvoření jednotné databáze z dat stanice KFGG. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část obsahuje teoretický podklad pro statistickou práci s daty. V této části jsou rozebírány možnosti statistických analýz časových řad a kontroly jejich kvality, je zde řešena otázka homogenizace dat a následně možnosti doplnění chybějících dat v časových řadách. Praktická část navazuje na teoretické poznatky o dané problematice. V této části jsou prováděny statistické analýzy a výpočty, které vedou k doplnění chybějících hodnot v časové řadě. Výsledkem práce je kompletní databáze teploty vzduchu z dat stanice KFGG.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of time series of air temperature obtained from data of meteorological station of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology of the University of Ostrava, located in Silesian Ostrava, measured in 2006-2017.The aim of this work is the addition of temperature missing values in the time series and to create a single database from data of KFGG meteorological station. The thesis is divided into two parts.The first part contains a theoretical background for statistical data processing. In this partare analyzed possibilities of statistical analyzes of time series and their quality control, the issue of homogenization of data and consequently the possibility of adding missing data in time series is solved. The practical part follows the theoretical knowledge about the given issue. In this partare performedstatistical analyzes and calculations, which lead to the addition of missing values in the time series. The result of the work is a complete database of air temperatures from data of KFGG meteorological station.
