Disposal of TOC and VOC emissions in the industry - Production of abrasive.

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je problematika zneškodňování emisí TOC a VOC v průmyslu a to především při výrobě brousicích nástrojů. Posuzovány v rámci této práce jsou oblasti ochrany ŽP a za ovzduší výhradně koncová zařízení na likvidaci emisí z vypalování a vytvrzování výrobků. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na porovnání účinnosti metod regenerativní termické oxidace a regenerativní katalytické oxidace, které jsou provozovány u předního výrobce brusiva v České republice a to v akciové společnosti CARBORUNDUM ELECTRITE, Benátky nad Jizerou. Literární rešerše shrnuje informace o jednotlivých emisních polutantech a technologiích čistění odpadního plynu ze zařízení pro likvidaci emisí. Vlastní práce se kromě porovnání účinnosti zabývá také vlivem na životní prostředí a vyhodnocováním dopadů na místní ekosystém. Výsledky ukazují, že využití moderních technologií dle BAT je velmi účinné a snižuje tak zátěž pro životní prostředí.

Abstract:

The theme of this thesis is the issue of the disposal of TOC and VOC emissions in the industry, especially in the production of grinding tools. In this thesis is looked on the areas of environmental protection and for the environment air solely terminal equipment disposal emissions from burning and curing products. The thesis specifically focuses on the comparison of the efficiency of regenerative thermal oxidation and regenerative catalytic oxidation, which are operated by the leading producer of abrasives in the Czech Republic in the company CARBORUNDUM ELECTRITE, Benatky nad Jizerou. A literature review summarizes the information about the individual emission pollutants and information about technologies for the treatment of waste gas from the machinery for disposal of emissions. This thesis, in addition to comparing the efficiency, also addresses the impact on the environment and assessing the impact on the local ecosystem. The results show that the use of modern technologies according to the BAT is very effective and reduces the environmental burden.
