Tématem diplomové práce jsou emoce v novinových článcích na téma Brexit, které pocházejí jak z bulvárního tisku, tak ze seriózních deníků. V první části práce jsou popsány jednotlivé druhy novinových článků, jejich funkce a role obrázků. Také jsou popsána jazyková specifika a rostoucí obliba online médií.
