Abstract:
In this bachelor's thesis I will examine how composers interpreted the events of Czech history in their musical artwork. I will analyze pieces from 1848-1918, as it was this time, when the modern Czech nation was being formed, with regard to perception and sensibility towards its own history, which is reflected in all fields of social life, meaning in music too.
