The Issue of Unemployment among People over 50 Years

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývala problematikou nezaměstnanosti u osob starších 50 let. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit nejčastější důvody vzniku nezaměstnanosti u osob starších 50 let a porovnat jejich rozdílnost v závislosti na předem zvolených proměnných. Práce je složena ze dvou částí. První část je teoretická a byly v ní pomocí odborných zdrojů charakterizovány pojmy spojené s nezaměstnaností u osob starších 50 let. V empirické části diplomové práce se zabýváme výzkumem vzniku nezaměstnanosti u osob starších 50 let. Tento výzkum jsme prováděli na kontaktních pracovištích krajské pobočky Úřadu práce České republiky v Ústí nad Labem v Rumburku a ve Varnsdorfu. Dále jsme zde statisticky vyhodnotili námi stanovené hypotézy. V diskuzi byly výsledky výzkumu porovnávány s informacemi uváděnými v odborné literatuře. V závěrečné části byly shrnuty výsledky výzkumu, které potvrdily, že vyšší věk a nedostatečné vzdělání osob starších 50 let jsou příčinou vzniku nezaměstnanosti těchto osob. Dále zde byly navrženy opatření, které by měly pomoci v řešení otázek týkajících se problematiky nezaměstnanosti osob starších 50 let.

Abstract:

The thesis dealt with the Issue of Unemployment among People older than 50 years. The aim of the thesis was to identify the most common causes of unemployment among people agend 50 years old and compare their differences depending on preselected variables. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical and has been in the professional resources characterized using terms associated with unemployment in people older than 50 years. In the empirical part of the thesis deal with research of unemployment among people older than 50 years. This research was performed on the contact sites of the regional branch of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic Ústí nad Labem in Rumburk and Varnsdorf. Furthermore, we find statistically evaluated our stated hypothesis. In the discussion of the research results are compared with information reported in the literature. In the final part of the research results, which confirmed that older age and lack of education of persons older than 50 years are the cause of unemployment these people. There were also proposed measures, which should help in addressing issues relating to the Issue of Unemployment among People older than 50 years.
