Rostlinné druhy se liší v jejich schopnosti transportovat látky získané jednou částí rostliny do jiných částí. Látky můžou být transportovány do všech částí rostlinného těla nebo může být tento transport omezený jen do určitých částí rostliny (sektorů) podle propojení vodivých pletiv. Abstract:
Plant species differ in their ability to transport resources captured by one part of the plant to other parts. Resources can be transported throughout the plant, or this transport can be restricted by vascular connections to specific parts of plant (sectors).
