Complex nursing care for patient / client with multiple myeloma

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce nesoucí název se Komplexní ošetřovatelské, péče o pacienta s mnohočetným myelomem se skládá z části teoretické a z části praktické. V prvním úseku práce se zabývám anatomií krve a dále její patologickou změnou zapříčiňující onemocnění mnohočetný myelom, které dále rozvádím na dílčí podtémata, které zahrnují diagnostiku, laboratorní vyšetření, rozdělení onemocnění, léčbu atd. V druhé praktické části se zaobírám, kazuistikou u konkrétního pacienta v rámci komplexní ošetřovatelské péče. Popisuju zde počáteční příznaky onemocnění přes psychický a fyzický stav. Pro zpracování kazuistiky zde využívám modelu Marjory Gordon ke komplexní charakteristice pacientčina stavu a změn, které se po dobu od propuknutí onemocnění odehrály. Cílem této práce je zvýšit informovanost ohledně mnohočetného myelomu o tom, jak závažné toto onemocnění je a taktéž v neposlední řadě o léčebných procesech s ním spojených.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis regarding Comprehensive nursing care of the patient with multiple myeloma is dividend into the theoretical part and the practical part. In the first part I alel with the anatomy of the blood cells and further with its pathological ganges which causes the disease of multiple myeloma which I eleborate further to sectional subtopics which include the diagnostics, laboratory examination, division of the disease, treatment, etc. In the second practical part I with the case study by a specific patient within the comprehensive nursing care. I describe here the originál symptoms of the disease through the mental and physical condition. For the processing of the case study I use the model from Marjory Gordon for the complex characteristics of the patients condition and changes which has been around since the outbreak of the disease. The main objective is to raise the awareness about the multiple myeloma and how severe this disease can be and last but not least about the medical treatment assicoated with it.
