Abstract:

Umělecká instalace pro galerijní prostor je věnována krajině a její proměně ovlivněné lidskou činností. Dotýká se hospodaření naší společnosti s nerostným bohatstvím, konkrétně s lomovým, stavebním kamenem. Autorka se inspirovala konkrétní částí krajiny a vypráví příběh. Nad obcemi Chraberce a Mnichovský Týnec, nedaleko města Louny zmizel během několika málo desítek let z horizontu severního obzoru vrch jménem Chraberský chlum, někdy také Týnecký chlum. Proměnil se ve stavební materiál obytných a komunikačních staveb. Komunikace považuje autorka za symbol ochočení krajiny člověkem, za jeden ze základních a prvních nástrojů globalizace. V hospodaření společnosti s krajinou spatříme její vyspělost vztahu k přírodě. Toto téma je v práci nahlíženo a je osobním poděkováním autorky přírodě, všem odtěženým kopcům.

Abstract:

Art installation intended for gallery space is dedicated to a landscape and its transformation caused by human activity. It is depicting the way mineral resources, especially quarry stone, are managed by our society. The author was inspired by a certain part of landscape and is telling its story. Not far from the town Louny near Chraberce and Mnichovský Týnec there used to be a hill called Chraberský Chlum / Mnichovský Chlum which has disappeared from the northern horizon within a few decades. It had been turned into building material for infrastructures and residential purposes. The author views the comunications as a symbol of human prevailment over the landscape and as one of the first means of globalization. In the way society treats its natural resources it can be seen how advanced its relationship towards nature is. This idea is the main topic of this thesis and is held as a personal thanks of the author to countryside and all the hills of our beautiful country which were mined out.
