Influence of additive on lubricating ability of engine oil

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce popisuje vliv zvoleného aditiva na mazací schopnosti motorového oleje. V první části se popisují základní vlastnosti motorových olejů, druhy aditiv, jejich výroba a rozdělení. Dále se popisují základní tribologické vlastnosti, jako je tření, opotřebení, mazivost, maznost a viskozita. V druhé části diplomové práce bylo měřeno, jaký vliv má aditivace na mazací schopnost motorového oleje. Měření bylo rozděleno na dvě základní části. První část se věnovala měření oděru a druhá měřením hustoty a viskozity samostatných motorových olejů a s příměsí aditiva. Výsledky měření byly zpracovány do tabulek. Na závěr bylo provedeno celkové shrnutí a diskuze naměřených výsledků.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the influence of selected additive on lubricating abilities of motor oil. The first part describes the basic properties of engine oils, types of additives, their production and distribution. Further, basic tribological properties such as friction, wear, lubricity, lubricity and viscosity are described. In the second part of the thesis was measured the influence of additive on lubricating ability of engine oil. The measurement was divided into two basic parts. The first part was devoted to the measurement of abrasion and the second was to measure the density and viscosity of the separate engine oils and the additive additive. The measurement results were tabulated. At the end, a summary and discussion of the measured results was performed.
