The activity of volunteer fire brigade units in the protection of the population

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá činností jednotek Sboru dobrovolných hasičů související s ochranou obyvatelstva. Stěžejním bodem práce je snaha o popis základních složek Integrovaného záchranného systému, jakým způsobem jsou členěny a jak fungují. Dále jsou uvedené části ochrany obyvatelstva, kde je důležitou součástí Koncepce ochrany obyvatelstva do roku 2025 s výhledem do roku 2030. Další část práce se zabývá Sbory dobrovolných hasičů s ohledem na jejich historii a současnou činnost. Součástí obsahového zaměření je praktická část prezentována výzkumným šetřením, které spočívá ve zpracování anonymního dotazníku pro členy jednotek Sboru dobrovolných hasičů a následného vyhodnocení zjištěných výsledků. Součástí výzkumného šetření je také rozhovor s veliteli jednotek Sboru dobrovolných hasičů. Dotazník a rozhovory zkoumají znalosti, zkušenosti a jejich vybavenost při zásahu v oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva. V závěru práce je zhodnocení celého obsahu práce a prezentována daná zjištění z výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the activities of the Volunteer Fire Brigade units related to the protection of the population. The main point of the thesis is an attempt to describe the basic components of the Integrated Rescue System, their structure and function. Furthermore, the parts of population protection are presented, where the Concept of population protection until 2025 with a view to 2030 is an important part. The next part of the thesis describes the Volunteer Fire Brigades with regard to their history and current activities. A practical part of the thesis is presented by a research investigation, which consists of processing an anonymous questionnaire for members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade units and the subsequent evaluation of the results obtained. The research investigation also includes interviews with the commanders of the Volunteer Fire Brigade units. The questionnaire and the interviews examine their knowledge and experience as well as their intervention equipment in the area of public safety. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the overall content and presents the given findings from the research investigation.
