Awareness of students about health and social impacts percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy to the client's life

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na Informovanost studentů o zdravotně-sociálních dopadech perkutánní endoskopické gastrostomie na život klienta. Teoretická část je věnována perkutánní endoskopické gastrostomii, indikacím, kontraindikacím, typům gastrostomie, způsobům zavedení a péči o gastrostomii, výživě do gastrostomie. Další kapitoly jsou věnovány etické problematice, psychickým dopadům, sexuálním dopadům a sociálním dopadům na život jednotlivce s tímto způsobem výživy. Výzkumná část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na míru informovanosti studentů této problematiky. Zjištění míry znalostí studentů o problematice gastrostomie bylo provedeno dotazníkovým šetřením.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the students' awareness of health-social impacts of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy to the client's life. The theoretical part is devoted to percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, indications, contraindications, gastrostomy types, methods of implementation and gastrostomy care, nutrition to gastrostomy. Other chapters are devoted to ethical issues, psychological impacts, sexual impact and social aspects on the lives of individuals with this way of eating. The research part of the thesis is focused on the students' level of awareness of this issue. Determine the level of knowledge about the issue of gastrostomy was performed questionnaire survey.
