Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen – Life And Work, the Use of X-Rays in Modern Criminology, Forensic Disciplines and in Security

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o významném počinu v oblasti fyziky, jehož autorem je Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. Cílem práce je zkoumání objevu rentgenových paprsků z pohledu jejich vlastností využitelných v současné kriminalistice, forenzních vědách a v oblastech zaměřených na bezpečnost. První část představuje význam dokumentace v kriminalistice, se zaměřením na různé způsoby pořizování fotografie, včetně neviditelného spektra záření. Druhá kapitola je věnována životu a dílu Wilhelma Conrada Röntgena. Další část popisuje rentgenové přístroje a zobrazovací metody, včetně negativních vlivů rentgenového záření a ochraně před ním. Dále jsou uvedeny některé trestné činy a obory forenzních disciplín, kde je rentgenové záření využíváno. Poslední část práce popisuje využití rentgenových paprsků ke kontrole osob a věcí a nepřístupných míst z důvodu bezpečnosti a prevence trestné činnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with an important piece in the field of physics by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. The aim of the work is to examine the discovery of X-rays from the point of view of their properties usable in contemporary crime, forensic sciences and safety – oriented clouds. The first part presents the importace of documentation in criminology, focusing on various ways of taking photographs, including invisible spectrum of radiation. The second charter is devoted to the life and work of Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. The next section describes X-ray machines and imaging methods, including the negative effects of radiation and protection from it. The following are some offenses and disciplines of forensic disciplines where X-rays are used. The last part of the work describes the use of X-rays to control people and things and inaccessible places for security and crime prevention.
