The dependence of fusional vergence values based on used examination techniques

Abstract:

This thesis research the effect of image dissociation on the size of fusion reserves. The aim of the thesis is to detect if the degree of dissociation affects the measured values of horizontal fusional vergence. The second task is to find out which of the methods used will have the least different values with repeated measurements. The theoretical part deals with the characterization of simple binocular vision, vergence, fusional reserves and dissociation. Individual examination techniques depending on various parameters and principles of examination of fusional reserves, are described in the third chapter. In the practical part, the dependence between increasing degree of dissociation and size of fusional vergence is explored. All values were examined repeatedly with aim of determine the method with which the re-measured values are differed at least.

Abstract:

Táto diplomová práca skúma vplyv disociácie obrazu na veľkosť fúznych rezerv. Cieľom práce je zistiť či zvolená miera disociácie ovplyvňuje namerané hodnoty horizontálnej fúznej vergencie. Druhým cieľom je zistiť, ktorá z použitých metód bude mať najmenej odlišné hodnoty pri opakovanom meraní. Teoretická časť sa zaoberá popisom jednoduchého binokulárneho videnia, vergenciou, fúznymi rezervami a disociáciou. V tretej kapitole sú popísané jednotlivé vyšetrovacie techniky v závislosti na rôznych parametroch a zásady vyšetrenia fúznych rezerv. V praktickej časti je skúmaná závislosť medzi zvyšujúcou sa mierou disociácie a veľkosťou fúznej vergencie. Všetky hodnoty boli vyšetrované opakovane za účelom stanovenia metódy, s ktorou sa opakovane merané hodnoty líšia najmenej.
