The role of social work in the historical and current development of the migration situation in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce nese název "Role sociální práce v historickém a současném vývoji migrační situace v České republice". Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvořit návrh kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem je zjistit možné bariéry, se kterými se setkávají sociální pracovníci při práci s cizinci v pobytových zařízeních. Bakalářská práce je zpracována formou teoreticko-aplikační práce. V teoretické části se zaměřím na vymezení základních pojmů týkajících se migrace, jejího historického vývoje, výčtu národnostních menšin v České republice a popíši sociální integraci cizinců do naší společnosti. V závěru teoretické části představím sociální práci s cizinci s výčtem státních organizací poskytující sociální služby pro cizince a také uvedu možné bariéry při výkonu sociální práce s cizinci. Aplikační část bude věnována návrhu kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem je zjistit možné bariéry, se kterými se setkávají sociální pracovníci při práci s cizinci v pobytových zařízeních.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is entitled "The role of social work in the historical and current development of the migration situation in the Czech Republic". The point of the bachelor thesis is to design of quantitative research, which goal is to identify possible barriers, that social workers encounter when dealing with foreigners in residential facilities. The bachelor thesis is processed in the form of theoretical-application work. In the theoretical part I will focus on defining the basic concepts related to migration, its historical development, the list of national minorities in the Czech Republic and describe the social integration of foreigners into our society. At the end of the theoretical part I will introduce social work with foreigners with a list of state organizations providing social services for foreigners and I will also mention possible barriers in the performance of social work with foreignerss. The application part will be devoted to the design of quantitative research, which goal is to identify possible barriers, that social workers encounter when dealing with foreigners in residential facilities
