Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší problematiku interního auditu a řízení rizik. Cílem je seznámit čtenáře s vývojem a činností tohoto oboru a dokázat jak je tato disciplína důležitá pro vedení společnosti. Práce je nejdříve zaměřena na vývoj interního auditu, jeho podstatu, cíle a vztah k řízení rizik. Klade se zde důraz na použití odborné literatury a vlastní komentáře autora. V praktické části je proveden audit vybraných činností za použití získaných teoretických znalostí a vlastních pracovních zkušeností, jehož výsledky poslouží jako nástroj ke zhodnocení hypotézy o důležitosti této funkce ve firmě.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the internal audit and risk management. The goal of the thesis is to introduce this discipline and prove its importance in relation to the company´s management. The thesis is focused first on the historical development of internal audit and its principles, goals and relation to the risk management. The first part focuses on the application of professional literature and own commentaries of the author. The practical part includes an audit of selected process where the results serve as a tool to evaluate the hypothesis of importance of the internal audit function in the company. Gained theoretical basis and the work experience of the author will be applied in this part.
