Twins

Abstract:

V předkládané bakalářské práci se snažím prostřednictvím malby postihnout fenomén jednovaječných dvojčat. K tomuto tématu mám opravdu velmi blízko, neboť i já jsem od narození doprovázena téměř totožnou bytostí – sestrou Monikou. Rozhodla jsem se na tomto tématu pracovat a skrze něj „vyprávět“ příběh dvojčat. Hlavním výstupem této práce jsou obrazy, které doplňuje textová část objasňující moje postupy. Přibližuji zde problematiku jednovaječných dvojčat nikoli z pohledu odborníka, ale z pohledu člověka, který jednovaječným dvojčetem je. Snažím se jednoduchým sdělením zprostředkovat podobu, jež je pojí a současně nastínit jejich rozdílnost.

Abstract:

In this thesis I examine the phenomenon of monozygotic twins through the medium of painting. I am quite familiar with this subject, since I myself have been accompained by an almost identical human being ever since birth – my sister Monika. I decided to work on this topic and to tray to tell the story of twins through painting. The main part od my work consists of my paintings and an accomplanying text that explains my techniques. I do not approach the phenomenon of monozygotic twins from an expert's point of view, but rather as a person who is an identical twin herself. Through a simple message, I'm trying to illustrate the similarities that bind the twins together, and also show a glimpse of their differences.
