Military training areas in the Czech Republic: optimalization of their further use

Abstract:

Předmětem předložené diplomové práce „Vojenské újezdy v České republice: optimalizace jejich dalšího využití“ je zpracování návrhu budoucího rozvoje a využití území existujících vojenských újezdů v České republice mimo vojenské účely. První část práce je zaměřená teoreticky a s pomocí literární rešerše předkládá přehled autorů, jež se zabývají danou problematikou. Dále je pozornost zaměřena na územní rozvoj, a k dispozici jsou také příklady přeměny bývalých újezdů, či jim podobným útvarům jak v tuzemsku, tak v zahraničí. Druhá část diplomové práce nastiňuje současnou situaci a rozložení vojenských újezdů a s pomocí dotazníkového šetření, za jehož vznik vděčím Akademii věd ČR, dochází k analýze současného stavu sledovaného území. Na základě zjištěných informací jsou vytvořeny scénáře možného budoucího vývoje zkoumaných oblastí.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis „Military training areas in the Czech republic: optimalization of their further use” is processing of future development suggestion and utilization of existing military training areas in the Czech republic outside of military purposes. The first part of the work is focused on theory and with the help of a literature research presents an overview of the authors, which deal with the issue. Attention is also focused on territorial development, with examples of the conversion of the former areas, both domestically and abroad. The second part of the thesis outlines the current situation and distribution of the military areas, and with the help of a questionnaire survey, created by the Academy of sciences of the Czech republic and for which i am thankful, leads to the analysis of the current status of the monitored territory. On the basis of the detected information are created scenarios of the possible future development of the studied areas
